Episode 131: No Emotion Is Negative

Emotions, Podcasts

Today, I’m gonna rant a little. As I step more and more into my leadership role, I think it’s important to also share the icky bits. You can’t truly experience the expansion of joy and gratitude if you’re not also willing to dance at the other end of the emotional spectrum. So in this episode, I cover grief, sadness, anger, and allowing ourselves as women to be okay feeling those “negative” emotions knowing that they too serve you.

2:50 – Why I think it’s important to talk about this topic

10:20 – Why all of our emotions are good

16:04 – Not succumbing to the dark side of light addiction

20:45 – The Serenity Prayer and being in acceptance of unchangeable things
