Episode 110: Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself

Body Image, Habits, Mindset, Podcasts

We develop a pattern of being hard on ourselves at a young age. Over the years, I’ve struggled with this myself and worked with ambitious, driven, high achiever women who deny themselves as such until I ask them to list out all their accomplishments. Then they realize they’ve glossed over them and never celebrated their wins. Do you do this to yourself? If so, how does that behavior cost or even benefit you? Listen on for ways to break out of this pattern.

2:45 – Some ways in which I’ve been hard on myself professionally

4:32 – How would you move forward if you weren’t hard on yourself?

5:19 – Relating kind and compassionate treatment of the self to women’s bodies and weight

6:45 – Self-parenting and taking inventory of your life by asking yourself these questions
