When letting go is how to achieve success and pushing harder only brings failure.

Today I’ve got a lot of stuff that I’m working on and I went on a total overwhelm mode. So, I decided today to screw all of it and came to the gym.

 I needed to take a break and this is what I wanted to talk about.

I talk about this inside the E.A.T. program all the time.

Whatever it is that you are chasing after, if you think that you can continue to push hard, put your head down, get it done, be all in, you’re going to end up failing, it’s like beating ourselves up.

We never get the results we want by doing that. You don’t have to be doing things perfectly. And when we let go, when we give ourselves permission to say, “Hey, there’s another way to do this.”

And when my clients do that with their food, they end up realizing the only person putting pressure on them to succeed and achieve certain goals is themselves. When they let go of the time line and the deadline, they’re going to feel a whole lot better in the process.

But here’s the thing, it’s uncomfortable.
