Episode 230: How To Manage Your Energy When You’re Navigating Grief

Boundaries, Emotions, Energy, Habits, Podcasts

In episode 230 Lisa dives into the topic of grief and the stages anyone who’s experienced or experiencing loss will navigate. Loss doesn’t always mean death. It can be your kids growing up and leaving home, or a significant life event that changes your circumstances, or maybe the death of a dream or vision you’ve been holding. Regardless, it’s not an emotional state that leaves you feeling energized, and for most to move out of grief and into acceptance and peace takes time. Today’s episode will give you tips to care for your physical and emotional wellbeing so that you can preserve the energy you have so that you can heal.

What most don’t understand is that healing requires massive amounts of energy. You will need more rest, and it’s not because you’re being lazy, your body requires it to feel better. Transformational work, digging into old stories and traumas so that you can free yourself and create a better life will probably make you feel worse before you feel better AND it also ensures that you will find your way out of suffering and into acceptance and peace.

As always, Lisa shares her process and what she’s experiencing as she navigates a season of grief and letting go in the hopes it will make your journey feel a little less lonely.
