Episode 134: Why Love is Key in Creating Freedom of Choice for You and Others

Boundaries, Emotions, Mindset, Podcasts

I like to call many of you who listen to this podcast “controllers”. You’re very self-sufficient, know how to get things done, and do things for everyone else. In fact, you believe you know what’s best in other people’s lives. I used to be the same way as well.

We’re being asked to make big decisions these days that may or may not impact us and those around us long-term. But at the end of the day, everyone is responsible for their own choices and the consequences of such. So today’s episode is all about the freedom to choose and allowing it for others as we all move forward, in all areas of life.

4:01 – Riding a wave of emotion lately and feeling grief and gratitude

9:39 – A passage about love from a book I bought recently and why it hit me so hard

14:05 – Importance of releasing attachment to others’ decision-making, especially kids
